Slackwater Pizza Herriman

Delicious and unique pizzas!! The California Sunrise is a fan fave, (the avocados and dressing ). But I prefer the Grape and Gorg!! Tangy, fruity, and oh so good. You finish each slice craving more. Service was great even during a hectic evening. If you’re looking for a unique, satisfying dinner experience, Slackwater is your place. Also killer playlist all night long! Edit: Came back for another visit and got the peach pizza! so good! And the peach beignets were amazing as well. Must try.

I love Slackwater in Sandy, by far the best pizza place nearby South Jordan in my opinion. I have just realized last time when I was about to write a review for that place that there is another location in Harriman which is even closer! I finally got to try this location and I’m not disappointed! The foods are good. Very comparable to the Sandy location. I like wings better here but I think the nacho is better in Sandy. Pizza and salad are equally good! Our server was nice and the wait line here is mush shorter (no line) here which is a plus. Will definitely come back!

We haven't tried this place because it's always so packed but we finally ordered take out today. We got a California Sunrise pizza, Gyro Trip pizza, and a Cobb Web salad with a side of shrimp. The pizza was a hit-everybody loved it, especially the California Sunrise. The crust is unique, with a great taste & texture. The salad was good overall. The shrimp tasted overcooked & the onions were so overwhelming! After a couple bites, I took the rest off the salad but it still tasted really strongly of onion in every bite. Next time I would skip adding a protein & have onions removed. Everybody liked the pizza though & we will definitely visit again.

First place I’ve ever been to that had a gyro-styled pizza and my god, it’s so good!! I dream about it until I have it again! Delicious food & drinks, great customer service, and a wonderful atmosphere. 10/10 recommend!

Great restaurant! They have some really good food and pizza! I love that they have a gluten free base for pizzas. I can’t remember if it was the same at other locations but this location I feel like the waiter staff need some outfit guidance which is the reason for 4 starts not 5. I am all for people being themselves etc but I took my parents there on August 6 around 6pm and we were all stunned. None of the waiters had aprons on, they were all just serving in whatever clothes they wanted. Most of them had no bars on. The lady that brought out food out had no bra on which had her boobs really poking out and half her stomach sticking out almost touching the food with it. It just made it feel very unprofessional and not very clean. Other than that, it’s a great spot! Even if they just wear aprons, I think that would go a long way! They do take American Express cards.

We tried Slackwater Pizza in Herriman for the first time today. It was my friend‘s birthday. She had been here before and this is where she chose to go for lunch. It was such a great decision. We had a wonderful appetizer and then pizzas for lunch. The appetizer was called Check Your Garlic Breath, it was supper yummy, this is the description from the menu: Oven-roasted whole garlic heads, paired with gorgonzola cream cheese spread, and pico de gallo, served with three slices of our house made focaccia. Next our pizza’s were super good as well. Our server Chris was outstanding, he checked on us and was very prompt and super attentive. For my friend’s birthday, he offered us dessert and we chose the Peach Perfection Beignets, WOW! they did not disappoint. They were absolutely delicious. I did not get a picture of the peach beignets, we were enjoying ourselves with great conversation and wonderful food. I did get a picture of our appetizer and part of my husband’s pizza lol I would definitely recommend Slackwater to those looking for some yummy food, great service and reasonable prices.

The atmosphere, waiters, and service was very good. Went with a big group and got tables pretty fast on a busy night. The calzone was okay. I didn't love it. Everything else about this place is solid and I'd come back.
